Biomaterials and Biofabrication Mastery Ability to conceive, prototype, and validate new biological materials and living production processes in the laboratory, articulating synthetic biology, design, and materials science. 2. Applied Research and Scientific Methodologies Competence to conduct complete R&D cycles ¿ from problem identification and hypothesis formulation to data analysis, experimental ethics, and the production of original knowledge. 3. Regenerative Design and Systems Thinking Ability to create bio-inspired, bio-informed, and bio-integrated solutions that not only minimize environmental impact but also regenerate ecosystems and promote circular economies. 4.     a) Holders of a Bachelor's degree or legal equivalent awarded by a national higher education institution in the areas of Design, Arts, Architecture, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or similar areas; b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, or legal equivalent, awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this Process, in the areas of Design, Arts , Architecture, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or similar areas; c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, which is recognized by the Scientific Council as satisfying the objectives of the Bachelor's degree in the areas of Design, Arts, Architecture, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or similar areas; d) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum, which is recognized by the Scientific Council as attesting to the ability to carry out this cycle of studies. They can work as designers of biomaterials and sustainable products (including architects specializing in living materials and spatial biofabrication), artists and creatives in aesthetic biotechnology, specialists in Biodesign applied to fashion, textiles, product design, and environments, as well as consultants in regenerative design, ecodesign, and the circular economy in companies, municipalities, technological start-ups, and innovation laboratories. The strong R&D component and the oriented Studio-laboratory also allow integration into applied research teams, living labs, and European projects, articulating prototyping, environmental impact assessment, and transfer to the market. The master's program also prepares students for careers in advanced research and higher education, through the production of original knowledge in dissertations, internship reports, or project work, aligned with agendas such as the European Green Deal, the New European Bauhaus, and national strategies for the circular economy.
